EMP-E 2019

On October 8th and 9th, 2019 the third meeting of the Energy Modelling Platform for Europe (EMP-E), hosted by the EC DG Research & Innovation took place in Brussels.

The energy transition is an unprecedented change for European society and economy and requires the involvement of all stakeholders: policy and decision makers, energy companies, grid operators, civil society, NGOs, researchers, other interested actors.

During the next four years openENTRANCE will host workshops to discuss future low carbon scenarios, transition pathways, case studies and the structuring of the open modelling platform, including a special workshop at the European Parliament. It will also be an organiser of the 2020 edition of the EMP-E (Energy Modelling Platform Europe) conference.
